The ASEAN Talented Young Scientists (Guangxi) Program (hereinafter referred to as ATYSP) in an ASEAN oriented mobility scheme aimed at cultivating future leading scientists together with ASEAN Member States.

ATYSP promotes cross-border exchanges of excellent young scientists, scholars and researchers. ATYSP also enhances cooperation among research institutes, universities and enterprises.

ATYSP offers sponsorship (RMB 12,500/month before tax) for talented young scientist who is going to work in Guangxi on full basic for 6 or 12 months together with Guangxi team.

ATYSP is sposored by Finance Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Special funds are allocated to support qualified young scientists, scholars and researchers of the ASEAN countries to carry out cooperative research on full time basis for 6 or 12 months in Guangxi. Talented young scientists from other countries may also be received in specific situation.

The competent authority of ATYSP is Guangxi Science and Technology Department whick is in charge of the organization, implementtion and management of the Program. In the implementation of ATYSP, Guangxi Science and Technology Department entrusts a third party organization to undertake the specific affairs of the Plan.
