Quarantine measures for traveling to Thailand, effective from 1 April 2021.

  1. The quarantine period for travelers entering Thailand from countries which have not been discovered mutant strain of Covid-19 will be reduced from 14 days to no less than 10 days.
  2. Travelers with vaccination certificate may be eligible to no less than 7-day quarantine, according to the following conditions:
    • Travelers must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by WHO or Ministry of Public Health of Thailand.
    • Travelers must have been vaccinated no less than 14 days before the travelling date.
    • Travelers must present vaccination certificate (with an original paper or a printed vaccination certificate) at the port of arrival. The quarantine period will be determined by the Health Control officers upon arriving in Thailand.
  3. Thai nationals travelling to Thailand are NO LONGER required to carry “Fit-to-Fly” Health certificate and Medical Certificate, with laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is NOT detected (by RT-PCR method).
  4. Non-Thai nationals travelling to Thailand are NO LONGER required to carry “Fit-to-Fly” Health certificate. A Medical Certificate, with laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is NOT detected (by RT-PCR method), issued no more than 72 hours before travel is still (Medical certificate must be in English)

 

Remark:

1.The Ministry of Public Health of Thailand will update the name list of countries which have been discovered mutant strain of Covid-19 monthly.

  1. CoronaVac - Sinovac Life Science, 2 Doses is required.
  2. AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine – AstraZeneca, 2 Doses is required.
  3. AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine - SK Bioscience (Korea),2 Doses is required.
  4. Pfizer-BIONTECH COVID-19 vaccine - Pfizer Inc., 2 Doses is required.
  5. COVISHIELD (ChAdOx1_nCoV-19) - Serum Institute of India (SII),2 Doses is required.
  6. Janssen COVID-19 vaccine - Janssen Biotech Inc., a Janssen Pharmaceutical Company of Johnson & Johnson,1 Doses is required.
  7. Moderna COVID-19 vaccine - ModernaTx Inc.,2 Doses is required.
  8. Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine - The Beijing Institute of Biological Products,2 Doses is required.

Thai nationals travelling to Thailand are NO LONGER required to carry “Fit-to-Fly” Health certificate and Medical Certificate, with laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is NOT detected (by RT-PCR method).

Non-Thai nationals travelling to Thailand are NO LONGER required to carry “Fit-to-Fly” Health certificate.
